The GloriaFood alternative
that isn't shutting down

Oracle retires GloriaFood on 30 April 2027. Orderzest does the same job — commission-free ordering on your own link — and adds table reservations, delivery zones and website widgets in the same dashboard. €10 a month. We rebuild your menu for free.

Free menu migration 0% commission Live the same day days to migrate

Short answer

Orderzest is the closest like-for-like GloriaFood alternative for restaurants that want commission-free ordering on their own link. It covers what GloriaFood's free plan did — a branded ordering page for delivery, collection and dine-in, website order widgets and QR ordering — with no commission on any order. It also adds table reservations, map-drawn delivery zones and automatic reminders, which GloriaFood either split into a separate app or never offered. Pricing is a flat €10 per month rather than a percentage of sales, there is a 14-day free trial, and the team rebuilds your existing GloriaFood menu at no cost.

Why you need a GloriaFood alternative at all

Oracle acquired GloriaFood in 2021 and has since issued an end-of-life notice for the product. The published retirement date is 30 April 2027. There is no Oracle-built successor and no announced self-service migration tool, so every restaurant on the platform has to move somewhere before that date.

The part that catches people out is not the software — it is the links. Your GloriaFood ordering URL is sitting in your website's Order button, your Google Business Profile, your Instagram bio, your Facebook page and any QR codes you have printed. All of those become dead ends on the same day.

We wrote a fuller breakdown of what stops working and what to export first in the GloriaFood shutdown guide.

What to look for in a replacement

Most restaurants used GloriaFood for one reason: it took orders without taking a cut. If you replace it with a delivery marketplace you solve the software problem and create a bigger margin problem. Four things worth checking before you commit:

  • Commission model. A flat monthly fee is predictable. A percentage punishes your best weeks — and marketplace rates of 15–30% are common.
  • Who owns the guest. On your own ordering link, the email address and order history are yours. On a marketplace they are not.
  • Whether bookings are included. GloriaFood handled reservations through the separate FoodBooking app, which is also being retired. Running two tools is two migrations.
  • Migration help. Rebuilding a full menu with modifiers by hand is a long evening. Ask whether it is done for you, and whether it costs anything.

Orderzest vs GloriaFood, capability by capability

GloriaFood got the important thing right — commission-free ordering on your own link. Here is how the two line up on what restaurants actually use day to day.

GloriaFood alternative — FAQs

The questions
we get asked most

What is the best GloriaFood alternative in 2026?
It depends on what you used GloriaFood for. If it was commission-free ordering on your own link, Orderzest is the closest like-for-like swap — branded ordering page, delivery, collection and dine-in, website widgets and QR ordering, at 0% commission for €10 a month. Unlike GloriaFood it also includes table reservations in the same dashboard, so you are not migrating two tools.
Is there a free GloriaFood alternative with no commission?
Orderzest has a 14-day free trial with no card required, then €10 a month. It is commission-free permanently — the €10 pays for the software, not a slice of your sales. Be careful with tools advertised as permanently free: most recover the cost through per-order fees, payment markups, or by owning the guest relationship.
Will you move my GloriaFood menu across for me?
Yes, at no cost. Send us your existing GloriaFood ordering page link or an exported menu file and our team rebuilds the full menu — categories, items, modifiers, add-ons and pricing — inside your account. You review it and publish when you are happy.
What happens to my customer data when GloriaFood closes?
Export it now, while your GloriaFood dashboard is still accessible. Download your menu, order history and any customer contact list you can reach. Oracle has not published a documented data recovery route for after the retirement date, so waiting is a risk.
Do I have to change my ordering links everywhere?
Yes, and it is the step restaurants most often forget. Update the Order button on your website, your Google Business Profile ordering link, your Facebook and Instagram bios, your WhatsApp status and any printed QR codes or flyers. We generate a new QR code you can reprint.
How is Orderzest different from a delivery marketplace?
A marketplace lists you next to your competitors, takes a percentage of every order, and keeps the guest relationship and the data. Orderzest is the opposite model: the ordering page is yours, the guests are yours, the data is exportable, and the price does not move when your sales do. Try the commission calculator to see what the difference is worth annually.
